02 — METHOD

Not a generator. An arranger.

ArrangementLabs doesn't create new music — it arranges yours. It builds each voice from scratch, adapting it to the range and character of the instrument. You set the direction — describe what you want to change, and ArrangementLabs adjusts.

04 — FOR WHOM

Three situations. One need.

I.
For teachers
An ensemble with almost no ready repertoire — string trio and pianist. I searched every music library I knew. Spent weeks finding nothing. ArrangementLabs arranges exactly what I need in minutes — I print it, hand it out, and we're ready to rehearse.
— Anna K. · music teacher, music school
II.
For arrangers
Most of my commissions look the same: a specific ensemble, a specific deadline. ArrangementLabs gives me a solid first draft — not finished, but good. The rest of my time goes into music, not mechanical voice-writing.
— Marek W. · arranger, commercial commissions
III.
For creators & hobbyists
I've been composing for years, mostly for myself. I always wrote for piano — it's the only instrument I play. ArrangementLabs lets me hear how the same pieces sound on a quartet or ensemble. No musicians to hire, no expenses. I upload and hear.
— Kasia J. · hobbyist composer
05 — FAQ

Got questions. We have answers.

Which ensembles does the beta support?
The beta supports 6 ensemble presets: string quartet, string trio, piano, jazz band, rock band, and bach chorale. Input formats supported: ABC, MusicXML, and MIDI — the model arranges to your chosen ensemble in 4/4 and 2/4 time signatures. More presets are added gradually.
Can I edit the generated arrangements?
Yes. The output is available as MusicXML — open it in MuseScore, Sibelius, Finale, or any other notation software. You can also iterate directly in ArrangementLabs using prompts: describe what you want to change and the model adjusts. Direct note editing in the app is planned for the future.
Does the tool replace my artistic choices?
No — the model proposes, you decide. ArrangementLabs builds each voice from scratch while trying to preserve the character of the original, but the final decisions are always yours. Iterate with prompts until it's right, or edit the output manually in your notation software.
What file formats can I upload?
ABC, MusicXML, MXL, and MIDI — up to 10 MB. If you have a PDF score, convert it first using MuseScore or Audiveris. PDF and audio file support is planned for the future.
Is it free during beta?
Yes. Beta testers get full access at no cost. We'll announce pricing well before the beta ends.

Invitations are limited. Leave your email — we review applications and reply with a decision.
