ArrangementLabs.ai uses proprietary AI technology developed in-house for cross-ensemble musical arrangement. The system analyzes the source score and redistributes musical voices across the target ensemble while preserving the musical intent of the original.

Yes. The arrangement opens in a notation editor in your browser, where you add, move and delete notes (from the keyboard, the screen or a MIDI instrument) and hear the changes straight away. You can also download MusicXML and MIDI and open them in MuseScore, Sibelius, Dorico, Finale or a DAW. The PDF is ready to print.

Most AI music tools generate music from scratch (Suno, AIVA, Soundraw). ArrangementLabs.ai is purpose-built for arrangement — taking an existing musical work and adapting it to a different ensemble while preserving the original musical content. The workflow centers on score-in, score-out at high fidelity.

For engraving, no, and we say so plainly. MakeMusic ended Finale's development and pointed to Dorico as the transition path; if you are looking for an engraving program, that is Dorico, Sibelius or the free MuseScore. ArrangementLabs.ai replaces a different part of that work: rewriting a piece by hand for another ensemble. You upload a score, get an arrangement for the ensemble you picked, edit it in the notation editor in your browser, and export MusicXML into whichever program you use for casting off and engraving.

No. Uploading the score, choosing the ensemble, arranging, editing notes, listening and downloading the files all happen in the browser, and the computing is done on the server. A notation program comes in when you engrave the score and parts for print. Then you download the MusicXML and open it in Dorico, Sibelius or MuseScore.

Yes. The notation editor does not ask you to log in. You choose an ensemble and write on a blank score, or open your own MusicXML file. The score stays in your browser and you download the finished one as MusicXML. During the beta an account is only needed to arrange for a different ensemble.
